Creative Explorations is a vision I wholeheartedly believe in. My passion for play-based, child-led education was sparked while studying Early Childhood Education and teaching at a college lab preschool. During that time, I was naturally drawn to the Reggio Emilia approach, which continues to inspire my work today.
I find ongoing inspiration through the incredible early childhood educators throughout Maine and love visiting schools along the Eastern Coast to observe learning environments and relationships in action. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside children, families, and fellow educators, and to help build a community that is both safe and enriching.
Outside of the classroom, I cherish time with my children and our extended family. Our oasis is the beach, and we spend countless days, year-round, exploring the beautiful Maine coastline. I also enjoy reading, writing, hiking, paddle boarding, and surfing- all of which help me stay connected to nature, creativity, and reflection.
